Sugar is a great exfoliant. You can choose your sugar by the size of the grains, and go for a medium scrub if you use small grained sugar, or for more of a hard scrub if you use larger grained sugar. You can even use cane or naturally dark sugar which will also look decorative in your soap.
One advantage is also that sugar will melt as you use the soap and easily go down the drain without sticking to the bathtub or the walls of your shower. At the same time the lemongrass essential oil will give it a fresh and herb-y fragrance.
You can find more formulas in the DIY Hand Sanitizer Soap Course and the Diploma in Natural Soap Making Course.
